ST. DAVID’S UNITED – PEMBERTON Join at “the Church on the Hill” for Worship and Sunday School every Sunday at 10 a.m. For info call 604-894-6981. OUR LADY OF THE MOUNTAINS ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH Join in for mass at 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.

Health

BABY/CHILD HEALTH CLINICS Free routine immunizations and newly licensed vaccines for purchase, growth and development assessments and plenty or age appropriate resources available. By appointment, call 604-932-3202.

THE ALTA LAKE SCHOOL Whistler’s Waldorf School, Preschool to Grade 8. The school is dedicated to nurturing the child’s capacity of wonder, reverence and responsibility while providing a curriculum of the highest quality.

COATS FOR KIDS Winter coats for children of all ages can be dropped off at Dual Mountain Drycleaners, both locations, at Market Pavillion and Function Junction. Coats are accessed by anyone in need through the Re-Use It Centre.

Meetings

What: RCMP SPEAKER SERIES This series aims to educate the public about policing issues and help local police gain a better insight into specific citizens concerns. When: Monday January 21, 6 – 7 p.m.

Special events

What: LUNA JAM LOUNGE All musically-included and music-curious folk welcome. BYO instruments or share, teach and learn in a causal setting. Beginners are welcome. Jam Lounge events lead up to a Battle of the Bands contest in March.
