Phil Melnychuk

Phil Melnychuk joins the Delta Optimist and Glacier Media after gaining experience at several community newspapers. His most recent job posting involved a position as city and provincial affairs reporter with the Maple Ridge News. Before that, he worked as a reporter at Business in Vancouver and as a desk editor at The Province newspaper.
He initially joined Lower Mainland Publishing in 1991 after accepting a position as editor of the Abbotsford Times.
He began working as a reporter and editor in the Edmonton area in Alberta, before relocating to the Medicine Hat News where he covered court and police beats.
Any positive comments about the Edmonton Oilers’ glorious past are always welcome.
