The Canadian Cross Country Ski Nationals and US Super Tour Finals are now underway at Whistler Olympic Park until March 27.

More than 700 athletes from Canada and the U.S. will be competing over the next week for FIS points and national titles.

“The first day of the Canadian Nationals and US Super Tour Finals is complete, [and] 720 of the best skiers from across North America enjoyed a terrific day of ski racing at Whistler Olympic Park, one of the finest Nordic venues in the world,” said Norm Laube, chair of Black Tusk Nordic Events Society (BTNES), in a release on March 20.

“BTNES has been busy as these champs follow three days of international and Nordic combined competitions all in preparation for the 2023 FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Champs.”

Spectators are encouraged to watch the events this week, with a day ticket to Whistler Olympic Park providing viewing access to all the events and related festivities. Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, March 27 will be special festive days where there will be live music, food and drink.
