The Whistler Mountain Ski Club (WMSC) K1 program finally got going this month, earning several podiums and top-15 results in three giant slalom races at Hemlock Mountain on Jan. 18 and 19. K1 is for kids aged 11 and 12.

Since I last wrote from the World Cup races in Bormio, Italy, the women’s World Cup technical team has been on the go.

The Canadian freestyle team is in good shape heading into this weekend’s World Cup competition in Fernie, with a number of athletes coming off podium finishes.
