National snowboard training team announced

Whistler and B.C. were well-represented when the Canadian Snowboard Federation announced the 24 athletes invited to the 2001-2002 Canadian National Snowboard Team program.

Summer soccer league looking for players

Men and women are invited to form their own team and join the Whistler Summer Soccer League. The cost is $500 per team with a minimum of 15 players per team and no maximum.

Gymnasts strong in Zone, provincial finals

The usual group of Whistler mountain bikers took part in the Cyclepath Triple Threat 2001 races at Crystal Mountain last weekend (June 2 and 3), and, as usual, they put on a strong performance.

Whistler riders capture top spots in B.C. Cup

Once again Whistler cyclists rode hard to capture many of the top spots in a B.C. Cup event. Last weekend it was the Foes-Azonic Bear Mountain Challenge in Mission, the fourth cross country (May 26) and the third downhill (May 27) of the season.
