Humphrey Bogart is back where he belongs at the movies.
Less than a week after a newspaper story on the missing mannequin was published Village 8 Cinema general manager, Jay DeWitt, said an anonymous tip led to Humhreys hide-out.
"The police were called in and they retrieved the screen star from the startled crooks," he said.
At this time, no charges will be laid, although repairs to the worse-for-wear Bogey will be billed to the alleged abductors.
"Thanks again to the community and the Pique for all their support in bringing Humphrey home. We didn't think we would see him again and thanks to you guys hes back where he belongs, greeting guests at the Classics Café," said DeWitt.
