In regards to last week’s story, Squamish commuter bus to start January, the RMOW would like to remind readers that neither Whistler nor Squamish council have approved the plan. The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District would also have to approve the plan.
The issue will be brought before Whistler council on Dec. 6 or possibly Dec. 20. The goal was to start the Squamish-Whistler commuter service on Jan. 3, but that plan is subject to approval by all funding parties.
