Fireworks, treats, and haunted gardens will return to Tapley’s
Farm this Halloween, on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Tapley’s Farm in Whistler Cay will be closed to traffic to
provide a safe but spooky Halloween for Whistler kids.
The “park and spook” shuttle will deliver trick or treaters
from dusk to 7:30 p.m.
from
Marketplace to Tapley’s at the bottom of Lorimer
Road. Tapley’s residents will shell out candy to over 600 children and local
residents will decorate their homes and yards for the annual best decorated
house contest. Nesters Market will host a fireworks display, beginning at 7:30
p.m., on Myrtle Philip lower playing fields. Local residents will decorate
their homes and yards.
This is the 20
th
year Tapley’s will host the
Halloween party. It is also the first year that monies for UNICEF will not be
raised via hand held orange collection boxes. Instead, Whistler children will
raise funds this October toward a Malawi school project.
Donations of candy for distribution on Halloween at Tapley’s can be made at both elementary schools, at Teddy Bear Daycare and Whistler and Spring Creek Children’s Centres.
