Kundalini workshop coming to Whistler

Whistler residents will have the opportunity to expand their yoga horizons this Saturday. A Kundalini Yoga Workshop is being held Saturday, July 23 at Neoalpine Yoga in Function Junction.

The one-day workshop will introduce participants to Kundalini Yoga which combines physical, mental, and spiritual practices. It is said to have the outcome of clearing blockages in the body, increasing blood circulation, sharpening the glandular and nervous system, and reaching ecstasy of consciousness both quickly and effectively.

The workshop will be taught by Akiva Sat Narayan Singh of New York. There will also be two classes in Kundalini yoga available after the workshop, on July 25 and 27, also taught by Akiva.

Both the workshop and classes are open to anyone in the valley of any school of yoga. However, space is limited to 30 participants. Contact Neoalpine Yoga at 604-935-9642 to book. The workshop costs $55 in advance and $65 at the door if space is available.
