A film company in Vancouver is looking for wacky weddings for a new 13 part TV series. They may not have to look any further than Whistler.
Couples have tied the knot here on snowmobiles and skis, atop mountains and on lakes, in swimming pools and even in out-of-bound tree runs.
The series, called Weird Weddings, is scheduled to air across Canada this fall on the Life Network.
Here are some recent weddings that have inspired the series.
A Toronto couple got married in a Tim Horton's twice last year. Others have said "I Do" bungee jumping, skydiving, and in convenience store aisles.
