Friday, March 7, is the last day of operations for the Lost Lake Cross Country Ski Trails. After that point the trails will be snowmobile groomed, and are to be used at skiers’ discretion.
The trails typically close by mid-March, or April at the latest. This year’s early closure was prompted by the low snow pack.
It was also a late start to the season, with the first real snowfall taking place on Christmas morning.
