Local police have located a missing Whistler woman who was last seen on July 19. 

Late Tuesday night, July 21, Whistler RCMP put out a release asking the public for assistance in tracking down 26-year-old Danielle Zentner. Just before noon today, July 22, police amended the release to indicate Zentner had been found. 

Three recent reports of a man following children in Bayshores area

Whistler RCMP is hoping to identify a man that has reportedly followed children in the Bayshores area in recent days.

Police said they have received three recent reports between July 6 and 13 of youths being followed by a suspicious male, all with a similar description.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his thirties, between 183 and 188 centimetres (6 feet and 6-2) tall, with a medium build and blonde and brown hair.

Whistler man arrested for obstructing, assaulting police officer

A Whistler man was arrested last week after getting into a fight in Marketplace and later assaulting a police officer, according to a release.

Whistler RCMP received a complaint of a disturbance at around 2 p.m. on Friday, July 17 and upon arriving at the scene, found two intoxicated males who had been fighting, police said.

During the investigation, one of the males was arrested for obstruction and assaulting a peace officer. The 34-year-old was released once sober on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
