What: MUM’S MOUNTAIN CLASSIC All mums and grandmums are invited to this annual event that includes coffee, race practice, match-time race, lunch and après festivities. This year’s theme is “Las Vegas”. Tickets are $40. For more info, visit www.whistlerblackcomb.com.

What: ARTE ACCION SLIDESHOW This non-profit group, located in Central America, uses art to teach children about the importance of improving their environment and community. What: TELLURIDE MOUNTAINFILM FESTIVAL The festival includes a variety of films from around the world profiling action sports, personalities and cultures. Tickets are $15.
