What: WAG SANTA PHOTOS WAG presents the annual photos with Santa! Dogs are like kids to many people in Whistler, why not grant them a Christmas wish too? Bring your dog to Town Plaza and get a photo with both you and the family canine to put up on the mantle this Christmas.

What: LULULEMON YOGA SESSION Lululemon in Whistler Village presents an "invigorating, dynamic" yoga class followed by a social soiree with local produce and local health and wellness authorities. Meet your local health community! Entry is by donation to the Whistler Food Bank.

What: WHISTLER NATURALISTS MONTHLY BIRD WALK The Whistler Naturalists present their monthly bird walk, the best way for Whistlerites to keep an inventory of what birds we have within our midst. See robins, warblers, finches and snipes if you're lucky.

What: ST. DAVID'S UNITED CHURCH CHRISTMAS BAZAAR The Church's Christmas Bazaar in Pemberton will feature local artisans, crafts, baking, a fish pond for kids, a White Elephant Sale, Christmas Cookies and much more. Come out and support this annual Christmas event.

When: Saturday December 5, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

What: BRATZ BIZ Whistler Secondary School presents Bratz Biz, an annual children's art fair that showcases the community's best young artists. Admission is by donation to this popular annual craft fair that will showcase the works of over 70 young artisans between eight and 17 years old.

When: Saturday December 5, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

What: ALL ABOARD THE POLAR EXPRESS Squamish's annual trip on the Polar Express is here! Kick off the holiday season with a ride on the eponymous train. The ride will include cookies, hot chocolate, music and stories. Visit Santa and Mrs. Claus, take a rail ride and more! Tickets $19 for kids, $22 for adults, $32 for first class.

When: Saturday December 5 and Sunday December 6, departures at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

What: AFFORDABLE HOUSING WORKSHOP The Village of Pemberton presents a workshop to discuss the cost of developing housing in town. It's an ideal place for stakeholders to take a direct role in producing housing. Find out what requirements the Village has for building that kind of housing.
