RCMP are still desperately trying to locate Squamish teenager Jodi Henrickson who has been missing for almost seven weeks.

Squamish RCMP Cpl. Dave Ritchie said although there has been some headway made in the investigation, there are "no developments" at this point.

"We're still doggedly working on it and trying to locate Jodi," he said.

"All we're hoping for is to get Jodi back safe and sound."

The 17 year old was last seen around dawn on Saturday, June 20 after attending some parties on Bowen Island.

She was reported missing on June 24, the day she was expected to return to her family home in Brackendale.

Posters of the teen are in windows throughout the Sea to Sky corridor and the Lower Mainland and police are following up on reported sightings.

"We've been in several locations now," said Ritchie. "We're still concentrating on Bowen Island but we have been in other areas of the Lower Mainland."

Ritchie said they are still asking people to be vigilant.

Henrickson has had no contact with friends or family since she was last seen.

If anyone knows anything about Henrickson's whereabouts call the RCMP tip line at 604-957-0516 or anonymously at the Crimestoppers hotline, 1-800-222-TIPS.
