Approximately 185 Telus customers in the Black Tusk and Pinecrest area will be without phone service from 11 p.m. May 1 to 4 a.m. May 2.
The interruption is necessary while Telus relocates a fibre optic cable to make way for highway construction.
Telus advises customers with an alarm system connected to their phone line to contact their alarm service provider before this upgrade to advise them that telephones may be affected by a brief interruption of service.
Cell phone service will not be affected.
