Black bear researcher Michael Allen continues his slide show series Tuesday, July 31 at 7 p.m. at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. This month’s presentation looks at adult females and cubs-of-the-year; pregnant females and the forecast for 2002; gestation, huckleberries and weight gain; and late summer bear habitat and encounter guidelines.
