This season the resort has racked up five number one accolades, plus numerous other awards.

In their annual reader's poll, Condé Nast Traveller ranked Whistler as the "Best Place to Ski & Stay in North America, as well as number one for "Apres" and number two for "Dining."

Freeskier Magazine ranked Whistler Blackcomb the "Top Resort in North America" for the third consecutive year.

Outside Magazine ranked WB the "Top Ski Resort in North America" as well as the number one "Mega-Resort," number one for "Nightlife," number two for "Snowboarding," number three for "Spring Skiing," and number three for "Scenery."

Onthesnow.com ranked WB as "Favorite Overall."

National Geographic's "10 Best Book" awarded WB number one status in the "Ski runs & Lodges" category.

Transworld Snowboarding ranked WB third overall in their resort category, as well as first for "Nightlife" and "Lodging," and number two for "Vibe" and "Terrain."

Ski Magazine also ranked WB third, as well as number one for "Terrain" and "Apres."

Skiing Magazine no longer ranks resorts, but up until last season WB won their number one resort ranking for 13 years in a row.

WB also appears to be winning in the social media rankings with over 56,000 fans of Facebook - more than any other ski resort.

"Whistler Blackcomb is honoured to be recognized as an industry leader once again," said Dave Brownlie, president and chief operating officer at Whistler Blackcomb. "These rankings reflect the overwhelming dedication from our staff to deliver an incredible mountain resort experience to our guests. The beautiful alpine vistas, the seemingly endless terrain, our abundant snow are all great physical assets leveraged further by our staff who help create memories for guests again and again."
