The first Whistler Film Festival continues through the weekend with the Moving Pictures: Canadian Films on Tour portion of the festival.
All of the British Columbia filmmakers, and other special guests will be in attendance for the screenings of their films in Whistler this week including:
• "Last Wedding" Director Bruce Sweeney and cast members Ben Ratner, Tom Scholte, Frida Betrani, Vincent Gale and Nancy Sivak
• "Mile Zero" Director Andrew Currie
• "Middleman" Director Kevin Speckmaier
• "We All Fall Down" Director Martin Cummings and cast member Darcy Belsher
In addition, Paul Armstrong producer of short film "Mon Amour Mon Parapluie", will also be in attendance, along with writer and star Tara Hungerford, Executive Producer Robin Chan, and several other crew members.
Moving Pictures: Canadian Films on Tour is an impressive lineup of 12 Canadian feature films as well as seven shorts. In addition to those mentioned above, Moving Pictures is pleased to feature a resurgence in Quebecois filmmaking and is highlighted with a Focus on French-Canadian Cinema.
