The Whistler Skiers’ Chapel needs help. The A-frame chapel in Whistler Creek, currently shortlisted as one of Whistler’s heritage buildings, is in need of repair. Saturday, Oct. 5 is designated Chapel Repair Day.

Whistler is the runaway leader in growth in tourism room revenue, according to numbers from BC Stats. In 1995, room revenue in Whistler topped $76 million, up 22.7 per cent from the previous year and more than twice the $34.

school board

A revised five-year capital plan that included moving a second Whistler elementary school from sixth to third on the list of priorities was passed unanimously by the Howe Sound School Board Wednesday.
