Whistler Blackcomb will reopen for sightseeing on June 10.

Whistler Blackcomb (WB) is officially closed for skiing until fall 2023, as the mountain operator shifts to summer operations.

The mountain will also be closed for sightseeing until June 10.

The mountain operator is using the downtime to do maintenance on its lifts, a Whistler Blackcomb communications official said.

Meanwhile, the ski season may be over, but bike season in the resort is off and rolling, and riders can upload via the Whistler Village Gondola.

Sightseeing reopens on June 10, the same day WB will host a grand opening celebration for the new-and-improved Creekside Zone, featuring 11 kilometres of new and expanded technical and jump trails designed for intermediate to expert riders.
