Close to 130 athletes turned out on Sunday for the second Coast Cup race of the season, a classic event hosted by the Whistler Nordics and Whistler Olympic Park. The local racers held their own in many categories and even came out with a few wins.

Interest in The North Face Whistler Half Marathon on June 2 is strong, and at press time the race was close to 90 per cent sold out. The number of entries was extended from 750 to 1,000 this year, and on Jan. 24 all but 138 spots were taken.
