Maxed Out

It started the day after American Thanksgiving. No, not Black Friday shopping, Amazon’s quest to put virtually ever other retailer out of business. The Countdown to Christmas Madness began in earnest.

We seem to be approaching an event horizon where many are being sucked into a black hole created by the confluence of our resurgent pandemic, personal responsibility, government inaction and Santa Claus.

Somehow, the provincial election this past month seemed, well, boring. Predictable. Revoltingly self-serving in its origins, numbing in its progression towards an end surprising no one.
